Tech Hop. Hip-hop foundations, cinematic electronics, and warehouse energy.
The artist
Chad Ray Thorne.
Chad Ray Thorne is an Arizona-based artist, DJ, and producer working at the intersection of hip-hop foundations and warehouse futurism. His sound is Tech Hop: dark, emotional, piano-led music shaped by old-school rhythmic weight, cinematic electronics, and distorted low-end. DJ instinct informs his selection, pacing, and momentum, while production, sound design, and creative sampling carry the same identity through his releases.
